There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, their light remains.
“Elly” Ellyana DeLaTorre was this light for so many people...a true light worker.
Since childhood, Ellyana was always happiest when she was helping others, even while silently struggling with her own lifelong mental health challenges.
After Ellyana’s sudden passing on August 5, 2021, our family received an outpouring of support from the community, friends, and family, for which we are forever grateful.
It is our mission to continue where Ellyana left off. Through the work of the Elly CARES Project, her spirit will live on. We focus on spreading kindness and helping those in need through community awareness and compassionate action.
